Making an MP3 is just like dubbing a tape, or burning a duplicate (or a mix) CD. The law is not broken until you give that copy to someone else.


I think everyone's ignoring one little detail: with tapes, vhs copies, etc, you LOSE quality. With 256kbit mp3's on the otherhand, you have a nearly identical digital copy.
