No no, I didn't say it was the BIOS that was the reason for not recognizing the drive, it's the reason for only allowing an 8GB drive. I've now used 3 different utilities for partitioning/formating my drive, and they've all seen the drive, but they all tell me they can't make a partition bigger than 8GB. THAT is what I'm saying is caused by the BIOS.
