Very short exposure time for the camera shutter would "freeze" the cycling of the color filter so that you only see 1/3 of the refresh cycle in the photograph.

I'm glad you guys are discussing this here, because I have frequently thought about whether I would want to switch to a projector system, and it's good to see how the state of the art is doing. I'm not ready to switch to a projector yet, but it's interesting to see this.
